Colonel Armstead T. M. Cockerill

Enlisted 3 June 1861 at age 20 as First Lieutenant

Died 24 April 1870 of tuberculosis contracted while serving in West Virginia in 1861.

Colonel Cockerill is interred in the Cockerill family burial plot,
West Union Village Cemetery, Adams County, Ohio.
